Dryer Outlet Filters

The exhaust gases from the dryer unit typically reach temperatures between 180–220 °C and contain bitumen vapors and mineral dust. To ensure resistance against thermal shocks and sticky particulate matter, filter bags made of Aramid (Nomex®), PPS (Ryton®), or PTFE are recommended. For operations running at lower temperatures, Acrylic filter bags can also be considered as an alternative.
