Filtration Applications in Gypsum, Lime, and Clay Production

Kiln and Dryer Outlets:
Operating temperatures typically range from 150–250°C, with sticky dust and risk of thermal shock. Aramid (Nomex) or PPS filter bags are recommended. For humid environments, PTFE-coated PPS provides enhanced resistance.

Mills and Crushers:
In highly abrasive dust conditions, polyester or acrylic filter bags with strong mechanical durability are ideal. Surface-coated fabrics are preferred to extend bag life and improve cleanability.

Packaging and Filling Units:
These areas feature moderate dust loads and lower temperatures. Low air-permeability polyester bags are suitable, while antistatic fabrics are recommended for systems with explosion risks.

Lime Kilns:
For high temperatures and abrasive lime dust, fiberglass filter bags are the preferred choice. PTFE-membrane fiberglass bags help prevent gas leakage and significantly extend filter life.

General De-dusting Systems:
In non-process areas such as crushing, conveying, screening, and silo filling points, polyester filter bags provide cost-effective and long-lasting filtration. Water- and oil-repellent surface treatments are advised to minimize dust buildup and improve overall system performance.
